TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Multiple agencies responded to the Snake River Canyon near Shoshone Falls Friday night for an ice climber that had fallen. The Twin Falls Sheriff's Office, Twin Falls Fire Department, Twin Falls County Search and Rescue, Air St. Luke's, and the Magic Valley Paramedics Special Operations Rescue Team (SORT) worked to recover the injured climber late Friday evening.

According to Magic Valley SORT, the climber had sustained significant injuries. Crews were able to find access to the climber and companion climbers. The patient was stabilized before being taken to the Air. St. Luke's helicopter. "Please be careful in your outdoor adventures, accidents can and will happen and in that time of need we will be there for you! Stay safe, be prepared and let someone know where you will be, if possible drop a PIN to your location So if something does happen you are easier to locate," said Magic Valley SORT in a statement on social media.
