TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The Idaho Division of Motor Vehicles says customers who have not yet received a new driver’s license in the mail shouldn’t worry. They’re on the way.

The same for those who’ve applied for an identification card over the last five weeks – you’ll get your card soon.

“Temporary cards are good for 60 days and your permanent card should arrive soon,” a news release states. “The card design is new, as is the vendor producing them, which led to a delay.”

The DMV says that customers should check mail carefully, so as not to accidentally throw any envelopes away that may contain your license or ID card.
