Most of us know Dorothy Custer for her positive and outgoing spirit. She became an internet sensation in 2011 when she was a guest on Jay Leno's show.

Dorothy was featured on the show for her 100th Birthday and ended up charming the socks off of Leno. A clip from the show was posted online and made Dorothy famous overnight.

Dorothy grew up in a tiny prove-up shack near Kimberly. She signed on to teach school in Murtaugh when she was 21. Dorothy married Marvin Custer in 1937. They were together until his death in 2005.

Dorothy Custer is an inspiration to all Magic Valley residences. With an amazing sense for adventure, she zip-lined in the Snake River Canyon and based jumped off of the Perrine Bridge.

Dorothy was born May 30, 1911, which makes her almost as old as Twin Falls. Sadly, Dorothy passed away peacefully in her home last night (Apr. 23) surrounded by her children and family. She would have been 104 this year.
