Free Lunch Program Expands for Students in Twin Falls
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) There will be more places for students in Twin Falls school system to get a free meal.
The Twin Falls School District announced that eight schools for this school year will offer free lunch through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Community Eligibility Provision program. According to the district schools must have 40% or more of its students directly certified for free meals to qualify for the program.
Free lunch schools include: Bickel, Harrison, Lincoln, Oregon Trail, Morningside, Perrine elementary schools, Bridge Academy, and Magic Valley High School. All district schools offer free breakfast for students.
