Idaho Among Least Sinful States
Does this mean the confessional is empty at St. Edward Church?
WalletHub claims Idaho is one of the least sinful states in America! We already knew that but it doesn’t excuse Catholics from regular confession (because as you know, we all grumble at other drivers).
Only Wyoming and Vermont are considered less sinful. Two other contiguous neighbors are also among the 11 least sinful places in the country. Utah and Montana have clean reputations.
You could make a correlation about how some of the most sinful places are among the hottest. In literature it’s called foreshadowing.
WalletHub looks at things like jealousy, greed, anger and vices. The latter would be things like drug and alcohol use and gambling and prostitution. Is anyone surprised Nevada is first overall? But not for vices, where it ranks only number six. The state tops the list for greed. California is fourth most sinful with Florida and Texas in between.

Somehow this study doesn’t square with a story earlier this month. Which said Idaho has the second rudest drivers in the country. Seriously! I’ve driven in New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington. I’m sorry, but the one angry fellow I encounter twice a year on North Washington Street in Twin Falls just can’t stack up against what I’ve witnessed elsewhere.
Maybe someone writing about rude drivers had one bad experience passing through our state. And I apologize. But, Dude, I was in a hurry and you had no idea where you were going! Mea culpa…
