US Representative Raul Labrador is hopeful the Senate passes a gang violence bill. 

we asked him about the terrible hurricane pummeling his native Puerto Rico

His bill has already cleared the House.  It aims to take a bite out of immigrant gang crime.  President Trump is already signaling support, if it’s approved by the Senate.

Mr. Labrador spent a few minutes with us on Top Story explaining how the proposed law would work.

He also addressed the battle for medical marijuana in Idaho.  He favors an extract oil for medicinal purposes but is opposed to other forms of medical marijuana and also opposed to legalizing recreational use.
