ISP Seeks Information About Early-morning Crash
JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police is seeking information from the public about a vehicle involved in a crash early Friday morning on Interstate 84 near Jerome.
ISP was called at 12:02 a.m. to mile post 168, where a 2009 white Nissan Versa with an unidentified driver, who, while traveling eastbound, had made a quick lane change and hit a trailer of a FedEx semi.
The Nissan, after hitting the FedEx vehicle driven by 53-year-old Melba resident George A. Gunshore, spun into the median and the driver then fled on foot.
ISP later found that the Nissan was reported stolen out of Las Vegas, and police are now searching for additional information.
