It is no secret that the Gem State has been growing in population over the last few years. Many have assumed that it is due to the mass exodus on the West Coast and that many from the coast are making their way to Idaho due to the cheaper cost of living. While this is true, it isn't the only reason people are moving to Idaho, and they aren't the only ones moving here. While Idaho has never been a place that many circle on a map as a place to live or visit, it has seemed to become more popular over the last few years. Alaska came in as the worst state, with Tennessee being dubbed the best state in the country. What surprised many, is where Idaho fell on the list, which happened to be near the very top.

Idaho came in as the second-best state in the entire United States. One of the things that makes Idaho so great is its natural beauty, but it has plenty of opportunities as well in technology and obviously in agricultural opportunities. While the cost of living helps pull people to Idaho, there has recently been a shift in salary dynamics that has encouraged many to move to the Gem State. Despite those who live in the Gem State and complain about it, you may want to think twice before looking to leave Idaho. According to the list, there is only one other state better, so unless you plan on moving to Tennessee, you are better off staying in Idaho.
