Emergency crews responded to the Snake River under the Perrine Bridge after receiving reports of an injured BASE Jumper.

Emergency responders arrived by air and by boat to help the injured man. The jumper was taken to the boat dock and then by ambulance to the St. Luke’s Medical Center hospital.

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office posted about the rescue operation on Facebook.

Comments on social media gave praise to the emergency responders, stating:

  • I wanna give your department an incredible shoutout for how fast your folks response time was. Truck and boat where down in the WATER ready to roll in under 5 mins that's incredibly impressive for how much traffic and foot pedestrian was down there.
  • I saw the response and it was truly impressive! Thank you first responders for being so incredible
