Magic Valley has Art & Soul through April 30
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – For about two weeks every year for the past six years south-central Idaho has gotten more artsy. During this time artists of many disciplines – amateur and hobbyist – showcase their work in the Art & Soul of the Magic Valley.
This year $43,000 will be given away in prize money, including a top prize of $15,000 awarded to an individual artist.
Here's where you come in: Anyone 16 years and older with a valid identification can help judge the art in the sixth annual event. Once signed up, simply visit the venues and pick your favorite artistic creations.
Artists’ works are showcased in venues across Twin Falls, according to information by the Magic Valley Arts Council, including “businesses, public offices and public spaces, which become galleries for hundreds of pieces of artwork.”
Public voting is free and determines all winners. Art will be showcased through April 30. For more information, call the Arts Council at 734-2787.
