The Jerome County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a mystery as to how a man fell 40 feet from the rim of the Snake River Canyon and then managed to climb back up.  The unidentified man was found Thursday when an off-duty deputy was golfing at the Jerome Country Club.  The deputy noticed a parked car on the golf course.  When on-duty deputies were called to the scene they found the man lying near the edge of the canyon rim.  Deputies are trying to figure out if the man suffered a medical condition, if the fall was intentional or if there are other factors at play.  The man was taken to Magic Valley Regional Medical Center but no other details are known at this time.
