One Injured in Crash with Semi in Southern Twin Falls County
ROGERSON, Idaho (KLIX)-One person had to be flown to a hospital after a head-on crash with a semi-truck hauling bees in southern Twin Falls County on Saturday.
According to Idaho State Police, troopers and deputies with the Twin Fall County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 93 south of Rogerson at around 5:21 p.m. when a Mazda sedan crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck heading south.
The driver of the Mazda, 39-year-old Val Lovely, had to be air-lifted to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, the driver of the semi, Lucas Meuchel, 45, of Dickinson, North Dakota, was not injured; both drivers had been wearing seat belts. Part of the highway was blocked for some time while ISP investigated.
