One Killed After Pickup Hits Tree Near Chubbuck
CHUBBUCK, Idaho (KLIX) One man was killed and two other people were injured when a pickup crashed into a tree near Chubbuck Thursday morning. Marc Tendoy, 22, of Fort Hall, died on scene, according to Idaho State Police. The crash happened just before 9 a.m. on Batiste Road by the Portneuf River just west of Chubbuck. ISP says Tendoy was driving a late 90s Ford Ranger when he went off the shoulder, lost control and hit a tree along the river bank. Two passengers from Pocatello, Shantel Martinez, 21, and Gralund Osborne, 33, along with Tendoy, had to be extricated from the vehicle. The two passengers were taken to a local hospital. Only Martinez had been wearing a seatbelt.
