JEROME, Idaho (KLIX)-A Twin Falls man had to be hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 84 near Jerome Saturday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, troopers and other emergency personnel responded to a crash a little after 1:30 p.m. on I-84 in the westbound lane after a late 90's Ford Escape went off the shoulder and down and embankment were it rolled.

ISP said in a statement, 61-year-old Rourke Veenendal, had not been wearing a seat belt and taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley for treatment. The Jerome County Sheriff's Office and Jerome Police Department also responded to the crash.
