(KLIX)- Marijuana grow sites were found in several corn fields in Jerome County Wednesday morning. Jerome County Sheriff's deputies and Idaho State Police investigators recovered roughly 1,100 plants. Each pot plant is estimated at $2,000 to $2,200. Trained spotters went out in a plane this morning looking for grow sites. This comes after Gooding County officials found marijuana grow sites in corn fields last week. Jerome County investigators say the field owners were not aware of the marijuana and were cooperative with investigators. Authorities are asking people to call the sheriff's office if they have any information on marijuana grow sites at 208-644-2770
