Real Christmas Trees Versus Plastic
Just before Christmas of 1997, I broke down and bought an artificial Christmas tree. I still have the thing in a box at home.
To give you an indication of how dedicated Victory Home is when doing God’s work the pastor drives hundreds of miles to pick up the trees.
There were some years I never assembled it because I spent Christmas on the road. This year, I may yet assemble it, but I really instead like the look and feel of a real tree. My sister is asthmatic and since she was a teenager has had some breathing issues when near real trees, although. She’s not coming for a Christmas visit this year. There are numerous options for buying real trees (I’m telling you something you already know!) One I’d like to mention is through Victory Home of Twin Falls.
As a Christian-centered community, Victory Home reclaims lives and restores people. This does come with a price and the church’s Christmas tree sale is one of the biggest efforts at covering the mission work. Next week, we’ll have representatives from the Home in studio and soon we’ll be telling you how you can buy a tree! To give you an indication of how dedicated Victory Home is, when doing God’s work the pastor drives hundreds of miles to pick up the trees. That’s dedication.
