A new one is being dedicated Saturday in Jerome, Idaho. Jerry Brown’s motivation was the death of his son, Dan, who died in service to his country four years ago. Jerry is completing the work while at the same time battling cancer. He shared his story with us today on Top Story. While Jerry didn’t serve in the military, his service to America is creating something generations will see and a reminder we can never forget those who consecrated our monuments by offering their own lives for others.
