School Bond Elections
Today, Tuesday March 10th, is the day to get out there and vote for a lot of school districts.
Below is a list of all county's that will be holding elections today:
- In Twin Falls, voters are being asked to approve a two year, $9,000,000 supplemental levy. The money will go towards maintaining the current level of service in the district.
- Cassia County is asking for the biggest bond in Southern Idaho is the $36,950,000 proposal in Cassia County. This will fund two new elementary schools in Burley and Declo, a new high school for Raft River, and a gym and agriculture building in Oakley.
- Hansen is looking to approve a supplemental levy, which totals $290,000 over two years.
- Camas County is asking voters for funds that will go into general fund. They are asking for are a $250,000.
- $370,000 plant Facilities Levy is being asked for in Buhl. This amounts to roughly $2.5 million dollars over the next 7 years.
- The Jerome School District is asking for $1,300,000. It includes Jerome, Lincoln, and Gooding counties and is a supplemental levy that is needed for the next two years.
