Single-vehicle Crash Blocks Intersection Near Wendell

UPDATE: Idaho State Police say Juan Reyes Tazca, 29, of Wendell, had to be flown to the hospital after the vehicle he was driving rolled into a field. The crash happened at around 1:30 p.m. south of Wendell. Police say Reyes Tazca crossed the center line, overcorrected and ran off the road. It is not clear if he had been wearing a seat belt. The intersection was closed for about an hour.

WENDELL, Idaho (KLIX) – At a little before 3 p.m. Idaho State Police was investigating a single-vehicle injury crash at an intersection near Wendell.

According to ISP, the entire intersection of South 1800 East and East 3400 South near Wendell is blocked due to the crash. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
