Much of the Twin Falls City Council meeting last night centered around a new manager for the Twin Falls Golf Course and possibly new management for the Twin Falls city swimming pool.  The city council voted to attempt getting Steve Meyerhoffer, currently the manager of the Clear Lakes Country Club, to begin management of the Twin Falls Golf Club.  If negotiations with Meyerhoffer are successful, he would replace Mike Hamblin who left that position earlier this year to manage the Blue Lakes Country Club.  If negotiations are not successful  for Meyerhoffer, then the city would begin a search for a new manager.  The Council is also going to look at proposals for new management for the Twin Falls city swimming pool.  The pool has been managed by the YMCA since 2002 but the council decided that it could be helpful in bringing down costs to solicit other proposals.
