Twin Falls Bank Robber Goes To Prison
A Twin Falls man is headed to prison for bank robbery after being sentenced in Twin Falls County’s 5th District Court yesterday. 28 year old Nicholas Sites was sentenced to 18 years in prison with the possibility of being paroled after serving 9 years.
Sites earlier pleaded guilty to robbing the U.S. Bank branch on Blue Lakes Blvd. North and First Federal Savings Bank on Washington Street North earlier this year. Both robberies occurred several weeks apart. In a plea agreement the prosecution dropped several other charges of robbing bank customers. Sites was also ordered pay restitution of nearly $4500 dollars to First Federal and nearly $9000 dollars to U.S. Bank.
