Twin Falls County to Bid Farewell to Outgoing Commissioners

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The staff and community of Twin Falls County will bid a farewell to the two outgoing county commissioners this Thursday as two newly elected commissioners take office. An open house to honor Commissioners George Urie and Leon Mills will be held this Thursday, January 5, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the County West Building, in conference room B. Commissioner Urie has served Twin Falls County since 2007 and will be replaced by Jack Johnson. Commissioner Mills has served since 2011 and Don Hall will be taking his seat. The new commissioners will be sworn in on Monday at 9 a.m. All are invited to attend the open house and swearing in.
