MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A University of Idaho student who police say harassed a female student he once had a relationship with by sending her threatening text messages, sending nude and sexually explicit photos of her to her family and friends, and posting the images online has been taken into custody.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports in a story on Saturday that 21-year-old Tyler R. James was being held in the Latah County Jail and faces charges of felony video voyeurism and telephone harassment.

Police say James met the female student through Twitter while living in Utah, and in November they began a relationship that ended in January, started again in March but ended a month later. He moved to Moscow in May to attend the university. A UI official says James will be expelled from the school.
