A Liberal Writer Belittles Idaho (Opinion)
Not all city-dwellers are nasty people
A writer at the New York Daily News calls Staten Island voters New York City’s Idaho.
A writer at the New York Daily News calls Staten Island voters New York City’s Idaho. This is likely another case of a big city liberal who has never driven west of New Jersey. They fly-over the country while making trips to the West Coast and then believe they know what we’re all about. We’re all rubes, right? When the writer went to Staten Island, he was upset the people he met didn’t dislike Donald Trump because Trump has a sometimes foul mouth, is rich and takes advantage of tax laws. Heaven forbid, they voted for a guy who promises to rebuild the gutted economy for the working class!
I keep telling Lefty he needs to get out more. Idaho’s most popular politician is a Latino named Raul Labrador. Boise is possibly the most beautiful city in America. The weather is great and the mountains are breathtaking and, yet. The socialists are pathological in their disdain for all of us. At least one guy gets it. Over at the leftist New Republic, he explains he’s learned a valuable lesson about his fellow countrymen. By the way, one of my old talk radio colleagues, Kevin Mooney, was from Staten Island. I’m proud to call him my friend. This was a subject of discussion on today's Top Story.
