Contrast Colin Kaeprnick & Heroes of 9-11 (Opinion)

The latest highly paid athlete to disrespect the flag and national anthem is a linebacker for the Denver Broncos.  This Sunday the Seattle Seahawks as a team may follow the example set weeks ago by malcontent Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers.  These ball clubs all play in hotbeds of American liberalism.

Meanwhile the demonstrations will coincide this weekend with a somber anniversary.  Fifteen years ago 3,000 of our countrymen died in a horrific act of mass murder.  This morning on Top Story I shared the words of one of our greatest writers.  Peggy Noonan makes it clear athletes aren’t heroes.  True Americans are cut from a different cloth.  The video is below.
