JEROME, Idaho (KLIX)-A groundbreaking ceremony is set to take place for a new Family Health Services building in Jerome.

Southern Idaho Economic Development announced the groundbreaking for the health services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. on 218 W. Nez Perce. The current facility has been operating on 114 Pioneer Ct. for the past 10 years. The new facility will be 12,000 square feet on a three acre lot that will allow for future expansion.

Family Health Services provides medical, obstetrical, dental and behavior health services to anyone based on people's income and not on any set price. Construction by Starr Corporation will start soon and completion is expected in the summer of next year.
