An evidentiary hearing has been set in the case of a 20-year-old Filer man charged with reckless driving for his alleged role in a crash near Twin Falls that killed two teenage College of Southern Idaho students.  Sept. 8 hearing will determine if the state has enough evidence to prosecute Kade D. Laughlin in the September 2010 crash that killed 18-year-old Ryan Reinhardt and 19-year-old Devon Austin of Coeur d'Alene. Austin was a baseball player at CSI and had been drafted by the Chicago Cubs. Laughlin was charged after a third person in Reinhardt's vehicle, 19-year-old Jessica Duran, reported Laughlin had been chasing their vehicle after they left a party. He has pleaded guilty to driving under the influence that night.
