Filer Schools Get $10,000 Grant

(KLIX)-The Filer School District can thank local farmers for a hefty check they’ll be receiving today. The district won a $10,000 grant through the America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education program. Area farmers nominated the school district to receive the grant from Monsanto. More than 2.3 million dollars has been put into rural education through the program to schools across the US.
