Finding Christmas on the Road
My dad used to like to travel to Niagara Falls before Christmas.

The city on the U.S. side of the border is known for an impressive light show (the Canadians may participate as well). The water cascading over the cataracts is often layered with ice and the lights reflect brilliant colors.
As kids, we also visited Santa’s Workshop at a place called White Face Mountain. The mountain was home to skiing events during the 1980 Winter Olympics.
The Northwest has its own Christmas attractions. A friend posted this link on Facebook. I’m sure it isn’t more than a day’s drive and it’s piqued my interest. Have you been there? Please share your reviews.
