Gary Johnson Resonates With Many in Idaho

In keeping with recent electoral history, Idaho still has deep libertarian roots including not only the lower case, but as well upper case.  Libertarian Party candidate for President Gary Johnson has more support in Idaho according to one poll than in all other states but five.  South Dakota and Alaska are in a third place tie with Idaho.  In both states, nearly one in 5 voters favor Johnson. 

Johnson does best in his home state of New Mexico and in Utah.  Green Party candidate Jill Stein does best in granola eating states in New England.

Stein may have a difficult time finding her base.  The woman is directionally challenged.  She was scheduled last week for a rally in Columbus, Ohio, but instead landed in Cincinnati.  On a very limited budget, it may curtail her future travel.

Donald Trump otherwise maintains a formidable lead in mainly Republican Idaho.
