UPDATE: Idaho Department of Corrections Looking for Boise Walkaway
UPDATE: IDOC announced the capture of Jackie Keierleber at 8:10 a.m. in Boise, walking down a street. He was taken without incident.
BOISE, Idaho (KLIX)-A man convicted of driving under the influence and grand theft walked away from his work-release job Saturday in Boise.
The Idaho Department of Corrections (IDOC) said Jackie Keierleber, 40, was last seen a little after 12 p.m. Saturday walking on Five Mile Road. Keierleber is a resident at the Treasure Valley Community Reentry Center and has been eligible for parole since the summer, according to IDOC, his sentence was set to be discharged in 2027.
IDOC has asked the public to call local law enforcement if they spot Keierleber.
