Enjoy These 7 Events Happening this Weekend in the Magic Valley

The holiday is over and many residents across the Magic Valley will take the rest of the week off, while others will struggle to make it through the remainder of the week. A weekend to recover from the Fourth is a nice option, but there are always events taking place in the Magic Valley and this weekend is no different. Friday, July 7 - Street Art Classes

Are you someone that has artistic talent? Are you looking to expand that gift and talent? There is a 4-week street art class that will begin this Friday and take place every Friday for the next month from 2 PM to 4 PM. The classes will take place at Lamphouse Theatre, located at 223 5th Avenue South in Twin Falls, and will cover street art and graffiti history and origins, mediums such as spray paints, wheat paste and markers, tools, techniques, materials and the difference between mural painting, graffiti, and street art. Saturday, July 8 - Jerome Farmers Market

There are plenty of farmers markets to choose from every weekend, and the one that might be closest to you or best for you is in Jerome. The market will be taking place this Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM and will be located at Mountain View Barn. Saturday, July 8 - Market on Main

Market on Main will take place again this Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM and it is a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Shop around for fresh fruits and vegetables and local goods. Saturday, July 8 - Adult Cooking Classes

Cooking is an art and is something that you can always learn more about. If you are looking to expand your cooking skills, there is an adult cooking class at the Twin Falls Public Library this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This week the class will be focusing on how to make empanadas using an air fryer. There are limited supplies and spots, and it is first come first serve, so you will want to get there early. Saturday, July 8 - Movie Matinee

For those wanting to get out of the house and enjoy a movie, but are on a budget, check out Movie Matinee at the Twin Falls Public Library from 3 PM to 5 PM. It gets you out of the house, and the kids will enjoy it. It makes for a great family activity and it is everyone's favorite price, free. Saturday, July 8 - Sagebrush Days Pull

Sagebrush Days will wrap up this weekend with Sagebrush Days Pull in Jerome this Saturday. The event will begin at 10 AM and will take place at IFARM Idaho Farm and Ranch Museum, located at 450 East 520 South in Jerome. Sunday, July 9 - Sunday Make Break

Sunday Make Break is back at Michael's this Sunday in Twin Falls. The event will be taking place from 2 PM to 4 PM and all supplies will be at the store.
