WHITEBIRD, Idaho (KLIX)-A 20-year-old Sandpoint man died after being partially ejected from his pickup truck when it rolled off a 200 foot embankment Friday evening.

According to Idaho State Police, Nicholas Holland was driving a 1996 Dodge pickup on U.S. Highway 95 near Whitebird when he sideswiped a Toyota Corolla, driven by Theresa Saunders, 26, of Pullman, Washington. The pickup went across the roadway and down the embankment.

A passenger in the pickup, Wesley Holland, 20, also of Sandpoint was taken to Syringa Hospital in Grangeville and later release for minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota and a passenger were not injured. Holland was not wearing a seat belt.
