One Arrest Following Fatal Shooting In Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-One person is in custody following a weekend shooting at a Twin Falls apartment complex.

According to Twin Falls Police Lt. Terry Thueson, on Saturday officers responded to a disturbance reported at around 2:30 a.m. at the Fawnbrook apartment complex on the north end of town and discovered a male adult dead with gun shot wounds. All individuals there were detained without incident.

Later in the day police went to arrest another person involved in the incident on the 700 block of 2nd Ave E. Lt. Thueson said the SWAT team was used because a firearm had been involved, however the individual came came out peacefully once it was known police were looking for them.

The victim has not been identified nor the suspect in custody as it is an ongoing investigation.
