One Hospitalized After Crash Near Kimberly Sunday Evening
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KLIX) A 70-year-old Eden man had to be taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash nearly Kimberly on Sunday evening. Thomas Wiser, of Eden, was traveling on State Highway 50 in a 2000 Toyota Tacoma, when he was hit by a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria, according to Idaho State Police. The Ford, driven by 87-year-old Ray Hamby, of Kimberly, was trying to turn onto Highway 30 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic. ISP says Wiser was wearing a seat belt and taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley by ground ambulance. Hamby and his passenger, Dorothy Hamby, age 85, were not wearing seat belts, but ISP says they were not taken to the hospital. Parts of the intersection were blocked for about an hour.
