BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KLIX)-One person had to be hospitalized Monday afternoon in a crash that blocked traffic on Interstate 15 for more than two hours.

According to Idaho State Police, a small Toyota pickup was being towed by another Toyota pickup, begin driven by Rolando Percolla Medina, 66, of Guatamala, going north when a Peterbuilt utility truck hit the pickup being towed, which broke free and went across the median and was hit by two other vehicles headed south.

ISP said the pickup towing the other Toyota rolled in the median. A mid-90s Honda Civic and a newer Chevrolet pickup hit the Toyota that was being towed. One of the passengers in the Chevrolet, Orvil Aleman-Reyes, 40, had to be taken to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

The interstate was blocked for about two hours and forty minutes while ISP investigated and crews cleared the scene, traffic was diverted around the crash. ISP said everyone had been wearing seat belts.
