Republican Presidential Candidates Headed to Idaho

BOISE, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) Republican presidential candidates are coming to Idaho. The Idaho Republican Party says Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have confirmed they will come to the Gem State in the near future.

But the party doesn't know the exact date. "No presidential campaign really knows more than a couple of days out what they're doing for certain," said Steve Yates, chairman of the Idaho Republican Party. "And so we're notionally looking at the days leading up to our March 8 primary.

That could be anywhere from March 5 to March 7 that they could make their way through, but nothing is of course fully confirmed at this point." Yates says the party has talked to Donald Trump's campaign about coming. He says while they have expressed interest, they have yet to confirm their plans.
