ROAD WORK: U.S. 93 in Jerome County at Rail Road Crossing (Jan 11)
JEROME, Idaho (KLIX)-Work on a railroad crossing in Jerome County has been pushed back to today (Jan.11) on U.S. Highway 93. The Idaho Transportation Department said the scheduled work near 300 South Road was set for last week but had to be pushed back. The work will require that the highway be reduced down to one lane of traffic that may create delays. Crews will be working to maintain the tracks and signal at the crossing. Flaggers and signs will be in place to guide traffic. ITD asks motorists to slow down in the area and watch for workers. The work shouldn't take any more than a day to complete.
