Suspect Struck in Officer-involved Shooting Near Gooding
GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Law enforcement investigates an officer-involved shooting Tuesday evening east of Gooding.
Gooding County Sheriff Shaun Gough said deputies responded to a domestic call near 2200 East along U.S. Highway 26.
He said when officers arrived the suspect was in the road with a rifle. After ignoring several commands to put down the rifle, officers fired shots.
Gough said the suspect was shot. No other information was given to the media.
Tuesday evening it was unclear the condition of the suspect who was shot and which agency will be investigating the incident.
