2 Bodies Found at Kimberly Residence
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KLIX) – Police are investigating the death of two people whose bodies were found in a Kimberly home on Thursday.
SIRCOMM received a request about 1:30 p.m. to do a welfare check on a residence near Kimberly, according to Lori Stewart, spokeswoman for the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office. When police showed up at the residence, located at 713 Center Street East, they found two bodies inside.
Authorities said on Friday the names of the deceased are 48-year-old Lora Skeahan, and 65-year-old Paul Mueller. Both died of gunshot wounds in an apparent murder-suicide. It is believed Mueller shot Skeahan before turning the gun on himself.
The Kimberly-Hansen Police Department is still investigating. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
