LUCILE, Idaho (AP) — Officials say the body of a 21-year-old Nampa woman whose vehicle crashed into the Salmon River earlier this month has been recovered.

The Idaho County Sheriff's Office in a statement Tuesday says authorities recovered the body of Tiffany Maupin of Nampa on Saturday about six miles downstream of where the vehicle went into the river.

Officials say a second woman in the vehicle, 20-year-old Cayla Danenberg of Nampa, has not been found. Police say the vehicle went into the fast-running river on May 17 about five miles north of Riggins.
