ming their rights were violated under the 8th and 11th amendments of the U.S. Constitution, three men are suing the Twin Falls County jail facility, County Sheriff Tom Carter and several deputies.  The Times News reports today that according to the lawsuit, filed March 26 in U.S. District Court in Idaho, Frank  Gorrell, Timothy  Harvell and Jonathan Guidi were among 11 men housed in the 100 block of the jail in January 2011. The three claim that during the time they were in jail they were forced to strip for a search in the recreation room of the jail with nine other men.  They claim the space was too small for all 11 men.  The suit claims the defendants “used excessive force on Plaintiffs, sexually harassed them and displayed deliberate indifference to their condition, in violation of their rights to be free from cruel and unusual punishment. The men are demanding a jury trial and request compensatory damages for pain and suffering, mental anguish and humiliation. Sheriff Carter and jail staff have not commented on the lawsuit.
