State Representative and Republican Stephen Hartgen has a beef with his old employer.

The Republican stalwart replied with a different explanation. Republicans believe the Democrat is a darling of the paper because she supports refugee resettlement and received special treatment at a candidate forum. His words and not mine. Keep in mind Mr. Hartgen bears no ill will against refugees. Like many Republicans he only wants to ensure proper screening before entry. I endorse all GOP state legislative candidates. The alternatives would promote, I fear, an open door policy in a world without borders.

Hartgen joins us in studio Tuesday. His opponent is also welcome no later than Monday next week.
