AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Power County authorities say a semi-truck driver was not seriously injured this morning when the truck he was driving ended up on its side spilling a sticky mess on an Idaho interstate.

The Power County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday morning the semi-tanker was hauling molasses on Interstate 86 when, for unknown reasons, rolled onto its side spilling the sticky substance on the side of the road. The sheriff's office got the call at around 5:22 a.m. of the semi crash and when deputies arrived they found the truck with driver temporarily trapped inside, the driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries; the cause is under investigation.

Meanwhile, the sheriff's office is asking drivers to use caution around the crash and watch for wildlife that will be attracted to the sweet smell of the spill.
