A Twin Falls man on probation for a 2009 conviction of injury to a child is charged with aggravated battery after a man's leg was broken during a fight. The Times-News reports 21-year-old Franklin Scott Osterhoudt was arrested Friday after witnesses say he stomped on a man's leg, breaking his tibia and fibula. The victim, Richard Wilson, underwent four hours of surgery to insert rods and plates in his leg. Wilson told police that he was driving at about 10 p.m. Friday when a man standing in the left turn lane threw something at his car, breaking the windshield. Wilson said he pulled over and confronted Osterhoudt and the two fought. Osterhoudt said Wilson tried to run him over. Osterhoudt is scheduled for a probation violation hearing on June 28 after an unrelated arrest in April.
