Freezing rain yesterday morning caught several Magic Valley motorists off guard and caused several accidents.  Clear Lakes Grade north of Buhl was closed for a time while police investigated an accident in which a milk truck rolled due to slick roads.

The driver was taken to St. Luke’s for treatment.  Several other accidents occurred in the same general area although there were no serious injuries.  Three accidents occurred on Blue Lakes Blvd. North within a ten minute period between 7:20 and 7:30 yesterday morning.   Some higher elevations are getting snow through this morning so motorists are cautioned to slow down and be aware of the driving conditions.  Rain and snow is expected to continue through Friday.
